Chapter 4

In a semi-conscious state, Brian remembers every detail of the event in which he finds "The Secret." “The Secret” occurred one day when Brian  had been riding his bike with his friend Terry and he saw his mother in a strange car kissing a man with short blond hair. The, anger, hatred and astonishment that built inside of him has been lingering to this day waiting for a moment to be released from his body. Becoming conscious once again, Brian slowly starts to become aware of his surroundings as the details of the plane crash rush back into his mind. His entire body is aching from the injuries he has gotten from the crash, and he quickly falls asleep from the unbarring pain. Awakening in a daze of the world, Brian finds his survival of the plane crash almost unbelievable and quickly remembers his last moments with the unfortunate pilot who didn’t get the luck of the drought that Brian did that day. The mosquitoes in the area swarm around him and leave him with painful bites on every part of his exposed skin. Brian feels lucky to have survived the crash, and when he looks at the surrounding area, he realizes how close his position is to a nearby boulder. Contemplating the scenery and listening to the many sounds of nature surrounding him, Brian once again falls asleep.
